No big news yet…

Baby Poputnikova Santos,

Very soon, papa and mama will be able to stop calling you “baby” and will actually be able to use either a male or female name for you! 🙂

On November 30 (in 12 days), which is our next scheduled doctor’s visit, mama will be doing a test called “Panorama”. The test, which costs almost $2000 (don’t worry, we have insurance so you can still go to Berkeley University to study Computer Science…), will be able to show that you have no chromosome defects and will tell us about your sex as well. Aren’t you excited? I would be, if I did not know what my sex was… hehe.

In 3 weeks from now we should have all the results and will be posting it here. Mama is doing fine and a little bit less queasy than before. After all, the first trimester is on its way out! You will be a super healthy baby, given all the metalic taste you have been giving mama lately! Papa is doing fine as well and is now back to learning programming. 🙂

Grandma Elisa, Grandma Valentina and Grandpa Viktor are fine as well and we will all be together in Miami in January 2016 for your papa and mama’s wedding!

Baby’s gender?

Some tales say that if the heartbeat is faster than normal, you are having a girl. If it is slower than normal, you are having a boy. I am not sure I believe in these, but well… let’s have some fun! 🙂

For the moment, it is baby Marina winning! We will check again when we have the second ultrasound in about 4 weeks.

You are officially 8 weeks and 3 days old now, but your size is that of 8 weeks and 5 days instead. Keep growing healthy and cute! Heart beats today: 183 per minute! Go, our racer! 🙂

Day before 1st OB/GYN visit

Mama Olya and Papa Victor spent most of the day at home today, enjoying each other, making jokes, complaining about Josh (the window guy who is always late or does not finish anything on time) and watching funny cat videos.

After papa went to the gym, he bought mama flowers and a card. The card was supposedly written by you, our baby, and you can see a picture of it here. When papa came home, he found out mama had also written him a card! 🙂

Tomorrow we will see you on the ultrasound TV, baby!
